When you order
We keep your name, email, shipping address, order details, and any notes left with the order. We use that information to ship your order and answer any questions. We also keep sales records for tax and accounting purposes.
All payments are securely processed by Stripe, our payment processing provider. Your credit card information goes directly to Stripe. Might As Well Co. never sees, handles, or stores your full credit card number or security code.
We use your contact information to answer questions and keep you updated on your order. Placing an order or contacting us doesn't automatically add you to a mailing list.
When you visit our website
We use basic website analytics to understand how people use our store and where we can make improvements. Our analytics don't use tracking cookies or follow you across other websites.
We don't track you across websites, so a browser's Do Not Track signal has nothing here to turn off.
Our website remembers your shopping cart and preferences. We may also keep referral information for up to 30 days to credit school fundraisers and understand how customers find us.
We don't sell your personal information or share it with advertisers.
Who handles your information
We use trusted service providers for website hosting, security, payments, shipping, and email delivery. They process information as needed to provide these services.
Found Things tags
If you've activated a Found Things tag, we keep your email address, details about the item, and any name or contact information you chose to provide.
When someone scans your tag, they can see only the information you've chosen to share. If they send you a message, we deliver it by email without keeping a copy in the Found Things system.
You can update your information or deactivate your tag at any time. Deactivating removes your personal details. We also keep basic records of tag activity, including the tag number, time, and contact buttons selected. These records are automatically deleted after 90 days.
Want to change or delete something?
Just email us. We can help you access, correct, or delete your information. Some order records need to be kept for tax and legal reasons.
We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
